Abraham,

with Magdalena & Stephanie

(26th of April, 2019 in New York City)

How Did it Start For Abe? We asked: “Why at the age of 96, have you decided to bring the center into the world?”

“At an advanced age, I find myself deeply involved in the Center for Love and Understanding. It’s been a long road, but I feel it was meant to be.

I was born in Poland in a small rural village where I experienced glorious nature, beautiful wheat fields in glorious miraculous sunshine, a river and a lake full of beautiful yellow water Lillie’s, all alone in silence of the days. I believe this childhood was the beginning of my spiritual experience. For many years I was involved in the Gurdjieff work, both at the Gurdjieff Institute in New York and in a group outside the Gurdjieff Foundation.

My acquaintance and friendship with Magdalena Agabs and Stephanie Miner-Berger brought me to a harmonious understanding of the new and the old. I learned to appreciate the extraordinary value of being present and aware of the fantastic power of love and soul. A journey that has no end because it is connected to eternity in the present. I have learned much from the writings of Rodney Collin, Mervyn Brady and Pyotr Ouspensky. These extraordinary spiritual teachers are our inspiration in creating the center for Love and Understanding.”
